Had to go to a meeting today. As soon as I started to drive back, there was a five-minute mini-blizzard. It was dramatic! I mean a real snow-blizzard. Ten minutes further up the road, the circle of sky directly above me turned the colour of the down-side of a three-days-old corpse and it started pissing down with rain so hard I had to put the wipers on double-speed for a while. This only lasted about ten minutes though. I could see the edge of the cloud – highlighted even more as the sun had only gone down within the last half-hour – as sharp as a balcony’s edge and the rain stopped like someone had flicked a switch when I drove out from under the ‘edge’.
